Day 21: Step aRobix Journey

I’m just getting around to posting about my 21st Step aRobix workout, which I finished a while back. Things have been a little busy as I’ve been working on Step aRobix PRO!

This baby has it all. I’m mean it comes complete with all of the moves and a complete workout routine. The only thing you may want to do is select some music to workout with. And even that’s not required. You can actually just run the app and click “Workout” to get started. It’s just that simple. Anyway, I’m excited to have finished my 21st workout journal, but I’m ecstatic about the release of my new workout app. C’mon you ladies out there, “get ‘er done!”

Day 20: Step Longer

Longest Step aRobix workout EVER!!. I have no idea how long I would have kept going, but the phone (once again) interrupted me. I’m sure I had another song in me (maybe even two).

Notes

Not sure if I like this new music line-up, certainly I was motivated to keep going, but I think that’s just because I was feeling strong!

Day 19: Two to go…

Dang, I can’t believe there’s only two days left in my journey of a workout journal! Actually, it’s no big deal. I mean what are we really talking about here? A constant workout regimen for 21 days. Big whoop. If I (we) can’t maintain something as simple as that, then I have bigger issues.

Notes

Felt great, super strong. Legs felt much looser almost from the beginning of today’s workout.

Day 18: Good Weight Days

My weight is on a downhill trend; something I’m very happy about. It’s still a bit higher than I’d like it to be, but better than the alternative. I’m feeling good about my journey thus far, though I still don’t think there was much point to it; other than to log what I’ve done. I mean there’s no great epiphany here, sad but true. I have had some thoughts about future workouts, which I hope to blog about as soon as my 21 days are up. Stay tuned…

Notes

Wanted to go 25 minutes, couldn’t do it. From the beginning of the workout, my legs felt like tree stumps not wanting to move at all. Ugh.

Day 17: Step Interruption

I was planning on a 20 minute workout (if not longer), however I was interrupted by a phone call at the 15 minute mark. Normally I would let it go to voice mail, however we have 16 inches of snow on the ground, and you just never know if a family member is stranded, so I answered it, Needless to say, I’m not usually a fan of trying to restart a workout once I’ve stopped and it’s past the 15 minute mark. I don’t know if that’s a cop out or what, but in most cases my motivation is gone. Oh well tomorrow is another day…

Notes

Still haven’t changed the music up as I wanted, but hopefully today I’ll get around to it. Absolutely lovin’ my step workout app!

Day 16: Longer Step Workouts

Wow, despite my weight I’m really starting to feel stronger and more energetic. That must be what consistency in workouts gives you! I’m really liking the feeling I have, the extra pep in my step so-to-speak. I hope this not only continues, but that I keep progressing to even longer workouts.

Notes

Longest workout to-date, decided to finish Blurred Lines rather than quit at the 25 min mark. I want to change the music for next workout, removing 5 O’Clock Somewhere, replace it with something else. While it is an upbeat song, it kind of drags. Not sure how to explain it, but basically regardless of the BPM, I want upbeat music. Another examplee is Don’t you (forget about me), just drags a little too much. I keep using it however, because I haven’t found a suitable replacement for this BPM; which is the perfect speeed, at least for now.

Day 15: Step into the Light

Oh man I’m two-thirds done with my 21 Day Fitness Journey using my Step aRobix app, and I can just see the light at the end of the tunnel. If I had any comments thus far it would be to say the while my workouts are excellent, and I feel great, my eating habits have a bigger effect on my weight than anything. I mean I guess this goes without saying, but I was really hoping that by working-out and “trying” to eat healthy I would see a bigger difference in my overall weight! Still I am un-moved. That is, I won’t let anything stop me from working-out. It seriously needs to be a lifestyle!

Notes

Strongest workout to date, could have kept going. I changed up the music: slow, fast, slow, fast, …
